This site is built to collect as little personal data as possible. There is no visitor tracking, no analytics tool, and the site sets no cookies of its own.

Personal data processed
The site has no contact form, registration, comments or subscription — nothing that collects data. No personal data therefore reaches us directly through the site.
The server hosting the site keeps technical logs, as every web server does: IP address, request time, requested address and browser information. These logs are kept by the hosting provider for security and fault diagnosis; we do not use them to build visitor profiles.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies are used.
Your browser's local storage may hold one preference that you set yourself: whether embedded videos should load. That value never leaves your browser and never reaches us.
Embedded content
The Events & Media page includes YouTube videos. They are not loaded when the page opens; only a cover image is shown. No connection is made to YouTube unless you press play.
When you press play, the video opens through youtube-nocookie.com. That domain sets no tracking cookies, but playing the video does open a connection to YouTube's servers and your IP address is visible to YouTube.
If you prefer that embedded content never loads, you can turn it off on the Cookie Settings page.
External links
The site links to LinkedIn, Google Scholar and publisher websites. Once you follow such a link, the privacy practices of that site apply; we have no control over them.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 you have the right to request information about your personal data, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing.

Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Browser security headers are enabled and source maps are not published.
